The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is launching the "Safer Choice" program designating that household cleaners contain environmentally safe ingredients. The Safer Choice initiative is an extension of the “Design for the Environment” (DfE) program and certify products that are safe for the environment, children and pets.

The main purpose of the initiative is to make it easier for consumers to identify products that meet the environmental standards for safety. The Safer Choice products were developed using strict human health standards and environmental safety guidelines - Green Life Development, Inc. manufactures the Naturama line of products that meets or exceeds these guidelines.
